Military Wool Walking Socks have been designed for the British military using the current NATO standards, making them ideal for extreme environments and for long term outside use in all weather conditions.

These very tough insulating socks are manufactured from a blended yarn of premium British wool and virgin polyamide, producing a sock with excellent moisture management and anti-bacterial properties. The addition of polyamide also reduces the friction within your foot that could otherwise lead to blisters and sores.

The half Terry foot construction provides underfoot cushioning loops for impact protection and insulation, whilst the technical toe construction provides a non-irritating smooth seam for added comfort. Unlike most other sock brands, the Sub Zero range has a non-elasticated comfort cuff finish achieved by the in-built stretch of the polyamide yarn. This will keep your socks pulled up without them cutting in to your calves.
